Language Links Core Preschool is essential for children functioning at a 2-3 year old language age level. At this preschool level the user is provided with many quick talk phrases based on various pragmatic situations creating quick language access and communication capabilities. At this age level children are using 2-3 word utterances based on the pragmatic situation they are in and the Language Links Core Preschool format fits easily into this language concept level. This communication system is developed around a child's most common language needs and broken up into categories based on the most common pragmatic situations and/or language needs such as wants, likes, dislikes, questions, and moving about in their environment along with much more. The six location layout provides for an easy to scan screen with quick access to all vocabulary at one time. As users master this level they will be able to easily progress to higher levels of Language Links Core as the content and setup from this level remains consistent in the higher levels.
